Chart, I just saw this and will go take a look. Chart my son is working down in Houston this summer on a job his company took on. he is an electrician. His wife and son went down last week to stay with him and they will be back home tomorrow. I will try to find out where the company has put him up at, its in a motel/hotel with a little kitchenette. he cannot come home every weekend because some weekends he has to work. They went over to Galveston over the weekend and had fun. We have spent a lot of time on the Texas beach since he was young.

Cody said the heat is awful there plus the humidity. He forgot how humid it is close to the coast like that.

Hey, will add this in here, I did go over to the depression forum and found this fella you were speaking of, you can read my post to him there.

My daughter in law and grandson got back from down there yesterday evening. She said it was actually cooler temp wise than here for a couple of days. We have been breaking records here of 100 plus for almost 3 weeks now. Its just awful. I cannot remember, wait I think it was towards the end of May the last time we had rain, yes we are in a drought too. I get scared because of the wild fires.

I hear ya on the homeowners assoc., some of them are just too much.

Stay inside where it is cool.

Oh Char, I love SA, it is one of my favorite places to visit. My son worked a job there for 9 months right after the baby was born so we went all the time. I love to go to the market place downtown and walk around. There is a Mexican food restaurant in the market place that has been there forever, written up in the food magazines, I will try to spell it for you and will be wrong I am sure, lol, Meiteras. If you like Mexican food an can get to the old market you need to eat there it is awesome.

I love the river walk during Christmas when it is lit up. You are making me homesick for SA, lol. Yes, its warm there too. You will enjoy it though.
