I think I mentioned elsewhere that I'd hurt my back when I fainted? I saw a doctor on Thursday (not my own) who didn't do any kind of examination, just gave me a few days worth of extra painkillers and sent me on my way. By yesterday the pain was so bad that I was contemplating the ER - luckily my own GP was on at our local clinic instead - so mum took me down. Found that as well as a lot of muscle pain, I've got pretty intense pain round my T4/T5...and looks like I've got low-grade compression fractures of those vertebrae. Someone out there sure hates me right now cry

Thanks Requiem - that's pretty much what's going on. Rest, pain relief and keeping an eye on it. I can barely cope with the area directly over those vertebrae being touched, which is huge for me given my normal level of pain and my ability to tolerate pain.

Hi Laura I know the pain you are going thru. I have a compression fracture on t-9 and my back is very sensitive in that area. Mine happened when I fell back in 2001 on my back with the ground frozen. It didn't heal. I have since developed a lot of other problems with my back in that area. I wish you good luck with it healing. Please keep me updated on how you are doing. Take care.

Laura....I hope and pray that your fracture heals completely.

Keep us updated on your prognosis.

Oh Loretta - My back is so bad now... I can't imagine what it would be like to have this turn into a CP issue *hugs* Thank you to all of you.

I've been spending today trying to work out where they've hidden the new bodies... I can't see my cardiologist until Thursday because he's away and meantime I'm still fainting no matter how careful I'm being - I think now it's not only my BP issues, but pain, exhaustion, the extra pain meds. I had to see a doctor again this morning after more falls and a lot of extra pain - this time through my lower thoracic area - and pain through my lower chest. Now I've also fractured T12 cry
