Chronic pain and My family becoming disabled with me!!!!

I was wondering if anybody has had family problems due to there disability and chronic pain. I became disabled in 2007 but became severely sick in 2005 with a rare lung disease that caused a 30 day hospital stay and about 15 other hospital stays. My mother was about to retire and did so to take care of me since I was divorced several yrs before this and had no one to help. Then my brother moved in to help.  I was 37 at the time now 6yrs later and still disabled with a rare bone disease caused by the oral prednisone I need six joint replacements. Well now everyone in my house is disabled and it's a hospital ward 24/7 I feel like my family is jealous of me being sick I've even heard that I was lucky because I was getting disability benefits that I worked for for 20 yrs. It's a crazy situation everybody every day complaining to each other how sick they feel and how much pain they are in. ANY INPUT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Sorry for such a long post...

I am so sorry to hear what you are going thru. If I complain about how much pain im in, my husband of 37 years says that he hurts to and he doesnt want to hear about my aches and pains. So I know what you are going thru. I try to ignore it and not say anything.

i do things that make me happy, like read a book, attempt to make a bracelet,etc.

I will pray for you so you have the strength to survive and cope with everything that is happening around you.
