The doctors are removing my regrown ovary on Friday. There is nothing more to do than surgery.

I am glad it is so close, but terrified at the same time. What if I wake up worse? I think anyone who has chronic pain or illness can understand. My husband is coming with me, and we are blessed with many friends to help.

Please send good thoughts, prayers, vibes, anything, that the surgery works and my hubby doesn't lose his job. Life has just smashed us right after the wedding.

Good luck to you on your surgery.

Prayers and thoughts to you and your husband, hope his job remains stable, I know how tough that is these days.

Right now I just keep praying for Friday to come quickly, things to stabilize and life to find normal again. If we didn't weather the storms, how would we appreciate what we have?

Prayers for everyone to have lower pain days ahead.

Mindy, I am glad you are able to get this done quickly while you still have insurance. I am thinking of you - you have been through so much and it's hard to face another surgery. I hope this will improve things and you will have a good recovery.

I wish you the best of luck with your surgery and recovery! I'm having surgery next Monday to have a permanent Interstim Therapy device implanted in me to help control my bladder functions.

Besides my bladder issues, I was hurt on the job last September and lost my job, so I can relate to your concern about your husband. I hope he keeps his job and doesn't have to start all over like me. I do like your attitude about Having to go through rough times to truly see and appreciate the happier times in our life. I hate it when people complain about the heat, then the cold and the heat again... I lost my job and career, but I truly believe everything happens or is done with a purpose that we may fail to see or understand, because we have our hate-blinders on. The way I look at it, I can do far better than the job I lost and once I recover from my injuries I will be better off.

I just happen to be checking the forum here, and saw that you are having "Surgery" today, and wanted to wish you well!

I did look up the ovary re-growth on the web, because I was telling some of the ladies about it at work. They said they had never heard of such a thing, and did not think it was possible. I never doubted you, but I had to prove them wrong you know! smilewinkgrin

Lets hope they get all the cells this time, so that you don't have to go through this again. We all will be thinking about you, and let us know how it goes when your up and around, and on your feet again.

I wanted to let Heather Lynn and Screaming Eagle know I am home and doing ok. We had a good outcome. Fluid was found where the ovary was on sonogram, so it appeared to be a cyst, and the ovary on ultrasound that was fully visualized was not found. They did excise a nodule that was new and looked suspicious, but I don't expect much out of that.
The bad news is that there are so many adhesions and endometriosis in there that I need a specialist for it. We have been there and done that. None will take my insurance, and we can't afford the surgery or travel. So back to PM doc for quality of life care.

Glad to read that you got through your surgery, sorry for the complications. Hope you recovery quickly and move
on to the next step.

Even going to be a hard freeze here in SC tommorow night. We are going from summer to winter fast.

Mindy glad to hear your home and recovering ,sound like your lucky you had the surgery when you did !I hope your recovery goes well!I'm recovering from my surgery,it seems to have helpped alot ,yet Iam still sore but in another area?Lucky I am going for a check up soon!It seems recovery takes awhile even after the scars heal,it takes time to get your energy back!Glad you surgery went well ,best wishes from Michele
