butrans patch along with percocet??

Niew to site...
After 2 years of being prescribed oxycodone 30mg, I went off, cold Turkey & white knuckled it through. I've been put on percocet, 5mg & Butrans patch.
I noticed that Butrans has 1 of the 2 ingredients in Suboxone. I do not want precipitated withdrawals! Please, can anyone tell me if the 2 will work okay together? I'm a mess over this & I don't want to do anything to cause me to be sick. I was just released from the hospital yesterday for an unrelated issue & reeeeally don't want to go back! Thanks in advance!

Hi, Snapbean. Sorry to reply to your thread without an actual answer, but I would really just direct this question to your doctor. If you don't have a stable doctor, you could probably call the hospital and ask this question in the light of whatever you hospital visit was about originally. But yeah, I really don't know and I would strongly suggest you ask a medical professional.

Hi Snapbean and welcome to Healing Well's chronic pain forum. I agree with Patrick, another good source of information about your medication would be your local pharmacist if you cannot get a hold of your treating physician.
