Rule #2 Review

Rule#2: No use of explicit, racist, obscene or vulgar language, images or messages.

I hope I can safely assume that none of our members would use explicit or racist language in their postings, but I know in the heat of the moment, when your pain is flaring, or you've just had a bad visit with your doctor, an argument with a family member, and you're venting, it's easy to slip in a 'banned' word by accident. Using symbols or *****, or anything else where the intention is evident, is also against the rules.

Remember that we have underage members here too. Think about what you'd want your kids reading and watch those fingers!

Thank you Laura for posting this, and giving a good review on the interpretation of it.

I suppose it amazes me that so many members have not taken some quality time to really study the rules, however given the purpose of the forum and the personal struggles being a priority, I can see why they might get put on the back burner with a lessor priority.

Maybe we should do this every year, starting on the 1st!
