Hi again everyone and thank you for all the wonderful advise. I saw my pain doctor and he decided to add another med Lyrica to hopefully help with some of the other pain. My surgery is booked for March 26, no more back injections as they only give me a few days relief. I know the fusion will be painful, I can handle that I hope. I'm really having a hard time handling my day to day pain now.
In this past week I noticed an ad in local paper and tonight a lovely couple came to my house with a brand new walker, toilet seat extender, side rail for bed, safety tub grip bar, bath chair, all for 200. My hubby is so sweet he insisted I call about
the ad and he said he will start by installing the bed rail because I have such a hard time getting out of bed.
And now I wait.........and hopefully someone cancels and they bump up surgery date.

Rose, that sounds lilke quite a bargain! All you can do is get your ducks in a row, and hope for the best....and you are.
I wish you a big reduction in pain (for such a constant companion, we sure do hate it, don't we??)

yes Debbie since everything was still in boxes and wrapped I was shocked I priced everything and it would have cost us 875. so woohoo.
This pain is getting unbearable and stress makes me tense up and just when I thought it couldn't get worse it did. I don't understand why anyone would want me to have more pain but the person who phoned and hung up on me for accidently forgetting something. Anyway enough whining thanks for the concern and I am not a very patient person so waiting sucks.
