Increased lower back pain after pregnancy epidural

Hi everyone:) So, I had my son, and now I'm having a problem.

Since my spinal (actually, that is what they called it but I don't know the difference b/t that and and epidural...it did numb my entire stomach straight down to my toes) I have been having increased lower back/foot pain. My feet burn so badly that it is difficult to walk.

The anesthesiologist had trouble getting it in. The first time he tried, I screamed, and then he had to try again and he got it in with no problems.

But I'm wondering why my lower back is so much worse and why the bottoms of my feet are burning.

I had this type of pain years ago, but got it under control with therapy, etc.
