pain meds went well

went to the gp today and he said not to worry anymore about getting pain med til they schedule my surgery, he said he will give them to me when I need and gave me a whole month supply and said if for some reason they are not working to call him and we will figure something else out. So glad I was so worried about it, I was almost sick to my stomach, on a sad note they found another infection in my lymph node on my neck and my kidney infection cam back, so back on antibiotics for me, but that's ok they are going to keep me on the meds til the operation so I can have it done on time. I will keep you all posted and thank you to the people on here that wrote back to me, I really enjoy reading your posts!! That way I don't feel so alone while going through so much pain. Thank You!

Hi Jamie, I am so glad that your GP came through for you and will continue to do so.I am sure that is a huge weight off of your shoulders.Sorry to read you are dealing with another infection,just what you do not need.

Do you have a phone number to the surgeon you met with, the one that said he would get back with you about scheduling surgery? If so, then I would wait a full week and I would call his office and speak with his nurse to see what you can find out about the surgery. As it is this dr really let you hanging.
