Belated Birthday Cogito!

I stayed up late, reading a book I've been looking forward to. Then had the morning to myself and worked on my book (my wife went out early to get me fresh donuts and left them for me by the coffee machine). In the afternoon we went to a gun range (as noted in my post), then we went out for dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants.

For my birthday, she bought me a Kindle Paperwhite reader (which isn't quite a good as Amazon portrays, as the illumination isn't even at the bottom, but still a great idea), and a few smaller items, such as a few lbs of my favorite cashews and candies.
