...when I joined Pumpsters...it only took 24hrs for approval...so I'm guessing that it may be run by a different Admin now...but not sure. I did find a lot about the pumps there...if your interested. All they seem to do is a one time check to see if the information matches any open records that they can find. Also I believe they told me that the information is never used or looked at again once the approval is done. There was nothing there that bothered me in the way of giving information.
I have to admit that their format is a bit difficult to follow, but again if your looking for detailed information on pumps...it is for sure there, and they are more than willing to help you. I had a ton of people reaching out to me there.
I will say that anyone here that has one, should be able to answer your questions...but it is wise to do all the research you can do, as this seems to be a last resort for pain management. There is a ton of information on the web on the pumps, and I also know that medtronics puts on a Webinar from time to time, and I joined in on one here a few months ago. I would do as Straydog says and look up their site.
I also think I actually have the webinar that was given and can elmail it to you if you wish to listen to it, as I saved it for futire reference.
Knowing that a trial is done first is a plus..but as Susie has said many times,..the success that you may get depends on who is doing the compounding with it if indeed you have a successful trial.
Again, good luck!
