I just had to go and check this forum out. If indeed some of these people are real doctors, or training to be doctors, then heaven help their patients! Yes reading some of the stuff that some of them write is really difficult to stomach! Your right stray dog it does rile one up!
A few of the " more professional ones " seem to understand their patients, and I do sympathize with their problem of their patients dying from over dosing or other wise miss using their prescribed pain medication. There is no easy answers for that. But with that said, what are the legitimate chronic pain suffers suppose to do? When reading their post, it is the rude arrogant ones, (if they are indeed real doctors) that really make a negative impression on their profession. It is to bad that these individuals don't seem to care about that. I mean the way their forum is set up, even if you cannot post on their forum, any body and every body can read their post, especially chronic pain suffers. Some of them certainly show allot of hostility and animosity about their patients, and that is extremely unsettling! Patients come to them for help! Whether they believe it or not, most patients pay for their wages in one way or the other, and the doctor is hired and works for the patient, just as a auto mechanic or a plumber is! I think some of them let their egos get in the way, of realizing that! I commend you CRPSpatient for the post you made there, I am just afraid it fell on mostly deaf ears.
