Hello Chrissy and welcome to HW. So sorry that you need to visit here, but just wanted to let you how great this group of people really are. I have also been officially seen by a PM dr for almost 10 years for a range of issues (take a peak at my signature). Its tough, especially when you are young, we get looked at like we are "full of it" all the time. I am sure you will love it here!
Hugs,
Shell

I grew up doing heavy labor, farm work and such (grandfather owned a dairy farm), despite the scoliosis, but never had any real back or any other problems other than my vision. I was your basic 6'2" farm kid who could do anything, lift 100 lbs sacks of feed, climb anywhere, wrestle calves, ride horses and off-road motorcycles, just very active. I got the occasional tweaked muscle or sprained ankle, stuff like that, but no major falls or trauma, except getting kicked by a horse once at age 17, but I walked that off, eventually, after I caught my breath. Got xrayed for broken ribs, checked OK, went about my business.
.
Oh my Living Color we must be related somehow, lol. Sounds like my childhood to a "T". Lived on a farm, handeling 100 pound feed bags by age 10, kicked by horse, broken ribs. Wrestleing animals, running farm machinery, you name it I was involved. I was a Tom Boy,lol.
