Horses,
Welcome to HW and congrats on your pregnancy. Sorry, though, that you are suffering w/ migraines. I get them, too... and have had a few pregnancies where my migraines were managed in different ways.
First, talk to your OB about it..... especially if there's any changes in your headaches - as it could be something else.
Obviously, it's ideal if you don't take any medications while pregnant.... however, it comes down to what's the better option - no meds vs. meds to break the pain cycle and all the things that increased pain does to our bodies (higher blood pressure for one thing). It's an extremely personal decision and one to be made only w/ your doctor (OB and PM doc, or whoever manages your migraines).
I don't know what else helps your dystonia.... but your doctor might be able to prescribe massage.... or a wide variety of non-medication ways to try to work w/ your migraines.
Good luck to you and your new blessing. Praying that you can find a way to manage your migraines.... and welcome again to HW.
