Mine too. I had to switch from AARP after their group made a gap period when you reached a certain amount you had to pay out of pocket for meds. The lyrica was pushing me into the gap. I just switched to Humana about
a year ago and have the Humana gold Medicare advantage plan. Limited drs on the plan but all mine take it but the co-pay for meds is even cheaper and the extracare pays the $17 premium for me.
It's bad when your monthly income was what your weekly take home pay use to be.
The snap program here in Fl is way lower then my hometown so I have to make up that difference some months using food pantries. Your not in this struggle alone. Some months I get so tired of scrimping and knowing my 15 yr old does too that I do without a few of my other meds and we just go out to eat or to a movie.
My other kids help when they can buying her clothes so she doesn't have to deal with peer pressure. They make sure of that. For Xmas she got tons of clothes an iPhone and a kindle which I'm on usually. Lol!
I hate that they have to do things for her I should be able to do. They never complain as she doesn't.
Well not meaning to get off topic but anytime an expensive med comes that far down in price it gives folks like me more options.
