Not trying to shill - but Anderson Cooper on CNN looks at medical billing in the next couple of days

Looked at a couple of previews of the show, and though most of us are familiar with some of the incredibly outrageous costs of hospitalization and other medical care. (Like some places charge 6-8 bucks for the little paper cups they bring you Tylenol in - Not the meds, the cup - you know, the same ones that are free for ketchup at Wendy's?)

May be worth a look.

I know medicaid, medicare, and most insurance companies negotiate those prices ahead of time. But when you get an itemized bill, it's major sticker shock.
