Had major computer problems and lost my original signon info and had to create a new one. I used to be cincin and posted about having major back issues. Last Sept. I had the final procedure to burn away the nerve roots of the facet joints in Lumbar area. Have been pain free since, Wonderful for me!!!

Next week I will under go the 2nd procedure in the neck. All but one of the facet joints in the cervical area are bad. Two weeks later I will have the burning done. The neck area procedure did not hurt as much as the Lumbar area however I had minor issues after this one. I was dizzy and a bit unsteady for a while and the left side of my head (back) was numb until the next day, however the procedure was a success.

That is so great to hear! I just went back to read your older threads and you have certainly been at this a long time so it's wonderful to find a treatment that works. It sounds like the nerve pain was your main issue so that is when the RFA procedure can be quite helpful.

Unfortunately what goes along with the internet is that we mostly see the negative more than the positive for pretty much anything as those with success or that are happy don't come online to post. (I'm speaking from everything to health treatments to buying a washing machine..LOL)

So we appreciate you coming here to share your story and I hope that things will continue to go well for you and lessen the pain:)

Hello Cinn!…and thanks for the update of good news! I can relate to the computer problems! Apparently, the Chinese government hacked the IP address on my work computer, so security came out and took the hard drive, and I have been without for a week. However they brought it back wiped clean, and it will take a day or so to get it back on line.

It is good to hear a CP patient report being pain free after treatment, and Snowy is correct, in that we usually see a lot of negative reports here.

Enjoy the relief, and I hope it continues!

You and Snowy are welcome. I can't wait to have the neck area finished. That leaves the SI joint my only remaining issue. I can usually get that under control by exercising. However once I get it feeling better, I quit the exercises, thinking I'm cured and sure enough it returns. The pain Dr. says he can inject it but I had that done once and it only lasted 2 days. Take care.

i know that pain the the cervicals and lumbar. for me the next was more resistant to treatment but the drug Arthotec helped with dilaudid for pain. for lumbar sulincan and diclofenac have helped along with soma or zanaflex or diazepam. still with the diladid but that pain is different. the herb Bowellia i find really works w/o side-effects.

I feel your pain spinal soldier. I never knew pain like this before.

I do have an issue I haven't reported 'yet' to any Doc. Sound asleep and pain in both knees so bad it wakes me up. Horrific pain. I have to move knees, massage them or get up to get the pain to dimish. Afraid now of serious knee issues.
