What is your expertise or knowledge on postings here in CP?

I just read a thread where a member has been patiently waiting for her meds that have not been given to her for way to long. From what I read and understood this is not the first time she had issues with this doc and prescriptions.

She said she didnt really have any options because of her insurance. After seeing this delay from the doctors office or pharmacy, some members jumped to find doctors and things to help out. My question is how can these people do this without all the insight she has? Why couldnt she do it herself? Are there experts here that have more insight and or knowledge than most of us?

How do you all find this so hard to find info? I think its fantastic that this group of people here on CP forum are willing and able to help out like this!!  kudos to those people but its still makes me wonder.

And I hope to find the same kindness when I need help with finding and locating!

Hello and Tina explained that well so I just wanted to add that we are a close knit forum and some have more physical limitations due to their health and pain issues then others.

Some have limited resources as well and because we do get to know each other through sharing here we understand some of those complications and we if asked pitch in and assist if when and if we can.

As Tina said we have some folks very good at research and know they will find the best possible answers for us.

If your sight impaired or physically limited to using the computer typing search criteria, offers to help are greatly appreciated.

As Tina said, experience is an awfully good teacher. There's another reason that the CP community is so eager to help others . . . .we get a jazz out of helping others, I know I do. How's things going with your sweet Dr. and the courier service . . . since you didn't mention it I take it that all is swell. I just found out that the new CVS pharm in my little 4 pharm town is going to be able to supply me with all of my meds, on time and without the hassles of our Walgreens. I got my 3 diff. pain meds filled there this month and it was a breeze, on time for the first time in a year. YAY. Keep up your good spirits Cinammon . . . Q

I have to agree!…Awesome!….and I myself continue to be amazed ever since I joind this forum back in 2009. And if you want too,…give Peter the Admin and Owner of the site, the most Thanks! Without his efforts, we surely would not have this Great place to share and help others living with Chronic Pain, and so many other health issues.
