….trying to remember what I did all last week is not all that easy for me these days, so I will just point out the highlights of the last three days or so!
…about
two weeks ago, we bought an ATV (4-wheeler)…for the kids and grandkids, and the first thing we noticed was that while one person was ridding single or two up, there were at least three to four of us standing, waiting to ride.
Hum!….it was then I turned to Mrs. Scream, and said it would sure be nice to have another one of these!
Now, I didn't have to repeat myself to her, and before I knew it, we were on the road again…headed to pick up another one!
I think we picked it out on Thursday evening after work, and made plans to get it Saturday morning. Now I have to back up a bit here, as I just now remember that we made a wasted 6hr round trip down to Oklahoma to pick up a little 90cc ATV I found on Craigslist. Once we arrived, I could quickly tell that it was not near the machine the man promised it was, and we wisely walked away from it.
Saturday morning couldn't get here fast enough for my wife, as she loves these machines, and wanted to get it loaded before I changed my mind!
We ate at Cracker Barrel on the way home, and is always a good choice, if your looking for a home cooked meal, and awesome service.
We got home around 1:30pm, and had our first riders there within 15mins! (my youngest daughter, her husband, and my 16yr old grand son) Needless to say they had a blast, and it was kind of neat to see two identical ATV's running at the same time. We live on 12 acres and cut a trail all the way around it. Mrs. scream, and my son In-Law, both pushed their skills to the limit, trying to see who had the fastest lap time!
Sunday, the weather turned bad very quickly, and we had several reports of Tornados in the area. We were lucky and did not receive any damage, but others within a few miles of us, were not so lucky and lost homes and other structures. This storm came with hail as well, and many suffered broken windows..(cars and houses)
Lastly, we noticed that Mieko our Rag-Doll cat, has not been acting well lately, so Mrs. Scream took him in today, and I guess it took $200 to find out that he had a kidney infection!
….or did she tell me bladder? Anyways, he is on antibiotics now, and we will have to keep a close eye on him.
This week is going to be a busy one, and the grass is growing faster than we can cut it!
At least I'm feeling better now that I have a decent combination of meds going on here. Tomorrow I get cut on again, to have a mole removed at the request of my skin dr. Since I have had Melanoma before, they are not taking any chances and are going to remove anything remotely suspicious.
The last thing happening this week, and the most important to me is getting to meet another one of our chronic pain members here! Chartreux! I can't wait!
Have a great week!
