  I'm not sure this is ood news.  So after much ado I am told my right leg has 30% of the stength of my left leg. He says " clear indicator of sn issue" Ya think! That's why i was there! He further says I fall because my nereve is trapped in arthrits tissue and missing discs (old news) Then he relates to a dropped call on a cell phone. The nerve is sending signals, but sometimes dropps the signal.

He did order a new MRI and is doing a complete neuro workup. So as of this visit I'm still wearing th brace (thanks to whoever reccommended it over the cane. Sorry bad memory strikes again)

I see th ePM this afternon, but there is nothing new to tell him. So I assume it will be the same old , sameold.  Which is better than worse:-)

I agree with you, Care... same ole, same ole is much better than worse. I hope pretty soon you can say "I feel better" which would be even better!

Sorry to hear the news...but thankfully they have ordered a new MRI as that should give them the best view of everything to see where to go from here.

I have nerve damage in my left leg as well as my right arm/hand. That is the downside with spine issues and surgeries:(

Just please make sure that the Neuro and PM are recommending that you wear a brace and for how long each day.

Keep us posted on the upcoming appts. and tests..

Him care I'm sorry that your appointment with the neuro didn't go better, but as you said, at least there's nothing worse. I hope your appointment this afternoon went well. Let us know, when you get a chance.

Well Lesley that's some progress and getting a new MRI will hopefully find the right answers.

If you were the one whose knee was unstable and giving out then that was probably me that sent you to the drugstore looking for a soft support brace. Thats what I would have said and my memory isn't any darn good either. Now if they had something at the drugstore to fix that I'll be good.

Hoping this is something that can be fixed so you can get around without fear of falling and if it can fix the pain even better.
