CT/MRI findings...

I am just curious... Has anyone had a Dr. or Radiologist say that you have a cyst on your left kidney after having a MRI or a CT scan? I have seen this as well as had it happen to me...

Yep....It's actually quite common...

The key is finding out what type of cyst it is. Did you have symptoms and they were looking at your kidneys or was this just found because of doing the scan for something else?

It was just a routine MRI to see if any changes had occurred... Never had anything happen and they said it was nothing to worry about... Isn't that odd though??? Glad I am not the only one...

Yes, it is common from what the dr told me. He said I did not have anything to worry about.

I had mine for a very very long time, on the top of the left kidney, and also one in my liver. They check it every now and then to see if the size of it has changed so far over the years it hasn't.
