Bad, bad pain! Oh my! They are checking for chocolate cysts but I suspect my flare up is due to stress... With everything going with Maximus and some drama with my son... Oh and its time for us to move, perhaps stress is an understatement.

I pray there is no surgery in my near future cry

Are you in the ER or did you see your Dr. and they decided to admit you? Sorry to hear of this....I was hoping you were ok as I you had been posting earlier this morning on the No pain zone thread...

I ended up in the ER once in my early 20's when I had my first ovarian cyst rupture....Thankfully I learned to know what that pain was like and when my cysts were bothering me and would just see my OB/GYN or just ride it out, as well as stopped having surgery after the third time clearing them out because all it did was cause more and more adhesions...So just be sure that they say surgery is absolutely needed before having it done.

I hope they can quickly do an ultrasound and figure out what is going on.......It's amazing these days with technology with folks being on the internet when they are in the ER or hospital! LOL

Hey SB!

I'm just in the ER... I started having a flare last night and didnt sleep much but i was hoping it would pass, posting online and movies sometimes help to distract me from the flares. Unfortunately its gotten worse and I can't keep down food or water so my ob wants me to get an ultrasound.

I'll keep you guys posted. I've had a rough couple days. :-(

Its just a build up of endometriosis on my ovary... Its also called an endometrioma. I've been prone to them on my left side.

SB, I'm at a hospital called Beaumont here in Michigan and they have free WiFi so we can use the internet but the phone signal sucks. I can't even send a text... I have to use voxer since that uses your data package.

It looks like they are keeping me overnight for observation and pain control.... They just got off the phone with my PM Doc.

Sorry to hear you have to stay overnight...That is great that you have close family or friends who can take your kids and doggy at such short notice:) Or is your son able to take care of everything?

Have the cysts actually ruptured or are they just watching them closely....

Also glad that your insurance is really good to cover a stay overnight!

And yes...I realize that hospitals have Wi-Fi....I was just stating that when I had to go to an ER back when I was younger I was in so much pain I couldn't talk or move so I was just saying it's unusual to be online but you said that it helps take your mind off of things so that is good...Everyone is glued to their smartphone these days...HAHA

Rest up...as much as you can in there...LOL and hope you will be out first thing in the AM:)

Prayers for you..

Had those choc cysts & endometriosis & adhesions myself ..
very very painful.
Hurt to breathe, much less move..
fortunately my last/ final dr understood pain & made me comfortable while I was awaiting my surgery date.

Was back in the old days.. having the luxury of communications & internet /wifi now is so great !!

No phone service is a pain especially when your in the ER and trying to get ahold of people. There however is a reason they don't work in hospitals.

Sorry you had to end up staying but at least maybe they can get you ahead of the flare.

So just rest and eat and hoping you get home for the 4th.

Hope they get your pain under control and come up with a plan so you can stay out of the hospital. Let us know how you are doing when you get a chance.

Hey everybody! Thanks for all the encouraging words. They kept me pretty busy last night so I'm sorry I couldn't post sooner. I'm just waiting for discharge now. I do have a cyst but its fairly small and its ruptured so we are going to monitor and see if it simply gets absorbed... With it being endometrosis it'll porbably get removed at some point during my laprascopic clean ups but we are trying to space them as far apart as possible.

Thanks for checking on me. I'm still pretty sore so I am going to try to sleep when I get home. Not the best 4th but I'll be at home, at least.
