Interesting article....It's important to note in there that so many other factors that come along with chronic pain like depression, anxiety, lack of social stimulation, and sedentary lifestyle that will all lead to changes in the brain.
That is why I think so many of us try to encourage people to have a Dr. who wants to work on the entire person and not just hand out medications. To make sure we are taking care of our mental/emotional needs along with our physical as it leads to more perceived pain.
It's always good the more they can understand how CP affects us, the better treatment plans they can develop for each person.
