Neuro Appointment

Well, seemed like overall it was a good visit and like me she wants to pinpoint the cause, sent me for bloodwork and will get an mri scheduled and from there a spinal tap. next office visit is in two weeks,
overall I'm happy with how things progressed today, she did say that the sjogren's can be the cause of what's going on, but well see, so for now it'll be a wait and see on how the testing goes...to me the other doctor's were a little too passive not going into further testing, so I'm happy this new neuro is doing more indepth testing...10 vials of blood today and one good stick, so things are looking up for a change..
My daughter is home for a few days break which is nice tonight we'll see a movie maybe monster U...
Wishing everyone a good week...will post back as I get results and she also wants to keep up on my enlarged pitutary gland...(I have a prolactin tumor in my pituatary gland, cabergoline is the medicine used for this)

Glad your visit went so well. Sounds like progress to me, especially once you get some of those tests and scans behind you.

Poppy's good sometimes Char,beats the panic in that tube.

Always waiting it seems. Hoping it passes quickly and I've had a few taps not any worse then injections as long as you don't move afterwards.

What is the dr looking for doing a spinal tap? I know why they are normally done just wondered what she was thinking by ordering it? ....Susie

Hey Char I was wondering how your doing and meant to ask earlier if you have to wait until your appt Thursday to get the MRI results and is the plan then to schedule a tap?

Hopefully you will get some answers.
