I've been having such a hard time with my shoulders and hips due to my AVN and now that I was getting prepared to replace the left shoulder my pulmonary problems have jump up and bit me on ars. I have severe bronchiectasis and for the last 8 months I've been on 4-doses of prednisone (60 mg's daily for 7-days then stop)I did this 3 times and now I am on a tapering dose of prednisone 60 mg's to 10 mg's in a week. my sats have been low at rest 90%-92% and after some several deep breaths I reach 95%.They haven't suggested any supplemental O2 yet but I would probably refuse it at this time. It's been rough because with all of this going on. My first shoulder replacement in 2009 has started to grind as I walk (This is new) I can literally hear both of my shoulders grind bone to bone as I walk. And just to confirm this I used my stethoscope to listen to my rt shoulder when moving it in different directions and it just crunches.
How does this sound? My pain doc recently recommended that I get setup with a primary physician (internal medicine) and let him sort of go over each system and make recommendations of what to do next unless it's an emergency. To me it sounds good. What do you guys think? I hope everyone is doing OK. Thanks Randy
