What kind of foot problem is this?

I am suffering from chronic pain in my feet for over a year. My doctor keeps giving me painkillers but doesnt help. The pain has been there for over an year now. I even googled for information but dint find much info. Can someone tell me what kind of problem by looking over the image(red colored area. I know it wont be a comprehensive check - I just need a checklist I can ask my doctor to look at.

What kind of pain is it(burning, shocking, numbing? Etc)? Is it limited to just feet(any pain in leg? Back? Elsewhere)? What parts(ankle, toes, sole of feet, etc)?

The picture you provided has an area marked near the heel. What has the dr mentioned as of now? Frequently people have tendonitis in that area. Can you give more information about your pain, treatment you have had, injuries, etc.... Maybe members can then better help you make a list of questions to ask your dr.

Have you seen a podiatrist? Maybe a neurologist?

Primary Care Docs often don't do the best of jobs.
