Just pulled a muscle in/around my shoulder. Think I did it because I was trying not to use too much of my back to lift something...ended up picking up something awkwardly. Hate causing a new injury/issue along with my normal back/leg pain. I'm already managing the "normal" pain...why does my body have to rebel in other parts?! :(
Makes me even more weary to do anything.

Josh, I'm sorry to hear this.
Try some muscle rub and pain killers. If you think it may be more than a muscle pull, maybe you should visit the doctor.
Hope your pain subsides.

Rest and ice it for a few days then some mild massage moving into light exercise. You Do Not want it to get stiff or take a chance on freezing. If you can tolerate something like Aleve or higher end dosing of ibuprofen then do so.
And Josh? Stop doing things your not supposed to be doing!!!
