Tina, yes your post makes sense & I did understand your stance.
My concern was that thread discussion should continue as the subject was not about any illegal substances or how to evade being 'caught' doing any .. rather about the process itself.. as part of pain treatment
My PM dr requires a urine test at least 4x a year & will NOT give any scrips until the test is 'read' - have to sit in waiting room.. so the specimen is not sent anywhere. Red flags would fly if a positive reading came up, even, I am sure, if I was immediately tested again with a negative result.
OT when I read about states testing folks who are on welfare I always have sympathy for whatever poor souls are false positives..
I have been mistakenly billed several times & the cost is around $300.
Believe I read that those people on welfare in Fl had to pay $200 for their test & were reimbursed if test was clean.. so if false positive reading came back, they would have had their income stopped, & have to pay an additional $200 for a second test.. as a single mom, there have been times in the past when I had less than $100.. guess being 'on the receiving end' I feel for the possibly innocent underdog.
Once my PM dr told me test showed I was not taking full dosage & he was wrong .. I just said, "yes I am!" The next month I was tested again.. no comments were made.
I have never researched what I legally allowed to do .. but I will now thanks to whoever started that thread!!!
