would like to ask if we could get some healing prayers sent this way. my wife got a phone call that
an uncle of hers was just diagnosed with stage four throat cancer. their not really giving him to
much time to live. came to a shock to us here about the news.

Wow, consider that request done on my end. That is terrible news about her uncle, hope they can keep him out of the pain associate with throat cancer.

my mother passed from throat cancer back in 1994. she went through chemo, radiation and surgery.
she had a really rough time with and after only 7 months lost her battle. (R.I.P. mom) any way pat
is his name, really has a rough road ahead and i wish the best for him. horrible horrible disease.
i sure wish they'd find a cure for it..

I went through extreme neck and throat radiation back in 2000, and just going through 35 treatments totaling 70 gys of old school non-guided radiation was rough. My oncologist at the time said there was no known protocol for treating the ultra rare cancer type that showed up on the 3rd time in the lymph nodes in my throat. But he was hoping it would do something effectual. He said I would have to be cancer free for a minimum of 10 years in that area for him to feel safe for me.

It's been 13 years now, and at least with that cancer type, there's no evidence of recurrence. However, the damage from the radiation still is with me to this day, along with, of course the extensive damage from my more recent radiation debacle related to my prostate cancer.

Oh Mark, I'm so sorry. I will keep your wife, her uncle and your family in my prayers. Miracles happen every day. I pray you will update us with one of those miracles in a few months with her uncle.

Mark,

Please know that I have prayed earnestly for you wife's uncle Pat and the rest of the family. I have asked the Dr.s to be able to treat the cancer effectively and to keep him comfortable. I, too, believe in miracles and that all things are possible through God, so please keep the faith and know that I will too.

God bless you, Pat, your wife and all the supportive family and wonderful people here in this forum.
