AngMichelle, a lot of the reason you're having these problems is below. It's a shame that people have to all be lumped together. And the PCP's ae being paid a enhanced rate Jan 1, 2013-Dec 31, 2014. They are being paid at the 2009 Medicare rate, it's part of the Affordable Care Act. Even if your state isn't expanding Medicaid, which Tenn is, the pcp's get the enhanced rate.

Medicaid in Louisiana won't pay for Pain Management. What is so confusing is that the Managed Care Organizations that managed their medicaid program have Pain Clinics listed as providers. But, when you contact them they all say they only accept patients who have Medicare and Medicaid. Even the state hospital charges you for their Pain Management Clinic if you have Medicaid. And not many people on Medicaid can afford $50 a visit. The Louisiana State Medicaid Manual states Medicaid won't pay for pain management.
