Hi Hibee. Im always glad you visit us but know it means your having some pain issues.
Im guessing you've been on the dihydrocodeine for some time due to the amount you take. Is it possible to perhaps talk to your Dr about a long acting medication instead of that? Its a much smoother pain control with far better coverage around the clock then being on shortacting meds only.
Do you or can you gain access to a therapy pool? Hydrotherapy is proven to be very beneficial to many and I use the pool at least twice a week, also is so relaxing and I find such peace in my moods on those days. I really am going to have one installed in my back yard if I ever win the lottery!!
Im thinking maybe you should let the Drs know that your having a real difficult time and possibly they can put you on the "on call " list for a closer appointment if they get a cancellation?
I wish I had more tricks up my sleeve but you know getting the right meds at the right dose, the right Dr and the right routine all coming together is the key to surviving this CP thing and unfortunately that takes some of us years.
Hang in there others will be along that may have some more ideas.
