When I read your other thread I thought it sounded like a cervical disk issue (I have a lot of neck and shoulder problems) but since your MRIs came back clean it eliminated that, that scalene myofascial mimics a lot of cervical symptoms.
You mentioned you're getting a shoulder MRI, that might give you some answers (or at least help eliminate some things.) Good luck, shoulders can be real SOBs, unlike knees there just isn't any "extra" space if something is wrong. Just a bit of inflammation or impingement in the wrong spot can trigger all sorts of problems in various areas
