i have an appt. with my surgeon who is still prescribing my pain meds and i'm going to ask him if i can go back on percocet 15mg 3x's a day they seem to work better then the morphine i'm on now.
question i do have is switching meds like that, can i expect to have withdrawals for not taking the morphine. anybody have any experience with this...thanks in advance...

Mark that depends on how much morphine your on. Generally the answer if conversion is done correctly between morphine and oxy is no you wont withdrawal.

Some of the stronger meds designed to hit on different receptors in the brain will always cause some measure of withdrawal symptoms but morphine to oxy shouldn't like I said if conversion is calculated correctly.

I wouldn't think so.If your talking about Roxycodone 15 mg,I believe that is stronger than the Morphine.

I could be wrong but if you're changing to something that you feel will give you more pain relief then it has to be stronger or at least better for your system.
