I see my PM tomorrow and I'm taking my thank you treat that I asked you all about a week or so ago. I ordered a bagel bundle from Panera Bread and Ihave two bballoons that say thank you.

Thanks for giving me your opinions! I'm glad the overall consensus was that its not weird. I'll let you guys know how they respond! turn

Oh, and I'm going to ask my doctor for suggestions about the third day of my patchand how painful it is. II'm hoping he'll let me change every two days or he'll also prescribe a 12.5 patch that I can alternate with my 25mcg patches so I'm never getting some kind of relief on day three. :-)

Hope the appt goes well. How long have you been on Fentanyl? I am thinking not very long. Problem may not be with the dr but with Medicaid, they are really tightening up across the country. In some states Medicaid will not pay for any type of pain mgt care and that includes meds. We are seeing more & more of this.

Hey everybody!

They loved the bagels! I found a card that said "the people who do the most sometimes get thanked the least". I also put a balloon on it. I'm so glad I did it!

And he changed the patch to every two days... But Susie, you hit the nail on the head... Medicaid caps the script at ten. I'm still sitting here while they try to get an auth for 15. I told them I'm glad I brought bagels today with all the extra work they are doing for me. LoL!!

And that was extremely nice of you.

I would do the same, but only for my doctor. The PAs/Nurses always mess up my meds when they call them in...

My doc worked really hard to get my authed for the SCS....My ONLY reason for staying with my pain management place is because I like my doc(and the fact they are the only clinic in a 200mile radius that has the most advanced SCS). Otherwise...I have several other options in the area.

It was wonderful of you to keep everything on a bright note, even as you sit there in anxiety and pain trying to get your authorization for more better coverage.
