Medicaid & benzodiazepines & barbiturates

I know that some here receive Medicaid. Effective January 1, 2014 No State can exclude from coverage barbiturates or benzodiazepines. Even though these drugs aren't often used now, it's important for those on Medicaid to know exactly what is covered and what is not.

Medicaid often varies from state to state. But, somethings are the same for all states and this is now one of them. I have put a link to the MEDICAID DRUG REBATE PROGRAM NOTICE from CMS below.
