Update

Since my surgery Fusing T11 and T12 on Oct. 30th things have been well. Pain is intense but was expected. Doctor said it will be 3 to 4 months to off pain my meds but he believes in comfort is more important and than having a patient in pain. I can walk easily, most other things hurt. Still need help getting dressed etc. I am going to be put of work for closer to 8 weeks not 4 as I hoped.

Funny story, since this all my prescriptions have gone through Target. There is one across the street from my surgeons office. I get refills weekly, it is a pain but way my doctors office works no worries. I go to Target on Monday to refill the 4th script with them. After an hour the pharmacy manager tells me they will not fill as they do not agree with doctors orders. The orders were put together by 2 PA's, a surgeon and a pain management specialist. AP

She then told my office I had multiple doctors writing the script. Oh I do, but they all work for same Spine Institute. So the 3 names she saw all worked for my surgeon.

I ended up going to Walgreens, they lost my business.
