Lol no, it wouldn't be weird if you sent cookies and a thank you. I think that'd be great, actually. Everyone loves cookies! And it's always nice to be appreciated and have someone say "thank you"!

I have to say also that the last few times I got my refil of morphine the generic brand was changed and didnt seem to be as effective too. Why is this ? and who is the better of generic maker of this med?

I took in a thank you card and bagels to my PM during my November visit for going above and beyond for me. They loved it and sent me a beautiful thank you card... Its not weird at all. And to my surprise, Hallmark actually has cards for medical professionals! I think its very thoughtful of you!

I guess I am still the odd person out in that I've never been able to tell a difference in pain levels based on the generic I have gotten. SophiaA, my Sam's club has changed the generic MSContin at least 4 times in the last 5 years.

90 pills are $56

As I've mentioned, I just go for what is cheapest:) Maybe with your tirating down on your dosages, you will be able to "reset" things to make it work better for you later on.

Linds, I have been friends with my PM for years and even though I have never taken them in any food, I've written an email during the holidays to staff and him to say thanks for all that they do:)

Oh great!! I just left my pain doc w/ my usual script for ("Percocet") oxycodone 10 mg./325mg Tylenol, #120 for BT (4xday max) and Exalgo 8mg. 1x/day...BUT the percs are that ALVOGEN brand y'all have been talking about! RATS!!! GGGRRRRRRrrr. I use Target Rx and every month it's the same; when I'm at the docs I call the pharmacy to SEE if they have what I'm getting scripts for. That way I don't have to run all over town trying to get a particular script. I ride the bus!!! I guess now I'll be asking for brand name too...IF they can even get it! And I still have to wait for the Exalgo because they had to order it!....Fri. maybe???
I have gone back and forth from Norco 10/325 and Endocet 10/325. The Norco is not working for me, though, so that's why I was getting the Endocet, and before today I have always gotten the Watson brand.
We do not need THIS hassle! Shalom ;-)

I had the same experience last week! I called the pharmacy immediately! the insurance company, ran to the doctors office...the insurance said they would over ride the mistake in giving me a generic, the pahrmacy said they would also re-do the medication...except the doctor, he wouldn't give me another perscription hardcopy...I was so confused, because I wasn't going to keep the garbage alvogen, I wanted to give it back to pharmacist....I can only say....before you leave the pharmacy make darn sure, you review the label....never accept the "Alvogen" you will regret more than anything....my question is...why is this garbage medication being made? i'm so sick of this merry go round....I've had the most sickest stomache, can't sleep at night....not good for anyone! skull

Welcome WM to the forum and sorry to hear about your issues with this. This however is a older thread and many won't stop in and we would like to have you start a new introductory post of your own and tell us what is going on. Some folks may have some suggestions to help but won't see it here.
