So today I get up and have this annoying feeling like I'm walking on something on the arch of my foot and more tingling. It makes me so anxiou as i feel it even when im just sitting here, like if something is stuck to the arch. Anyone have this? Called dr about increasing gabapentin since pain is getting no better. Maybe its the weather, here in Jersey were getting another . Big snowstorm and very cold temps.

Nj if I had to take a guess it would be that there's definately some pressure point on the nerve that serves that part of your foot .

I'm sorry I can't recall your diagnosis in particular but since your on neurontin I'm assuming you've got some neuropathy ?

Increasing it may help but generally therapy to kind of rearrange the pressure point and antinflamatory meds to decrease swelling to lessen whatevers pinching that nerve works best.

Does your Dr know about the new symptom ? Are you currently in therapy ? Are you taking any anti-imflams ?

I have collapsed discs with a Pars defect and nerve impingement and have similar problems and out of all the meds and injections and treatment the hydropool does the most good .

Ask your Dr or find a local heated pool at the gym and if he okays it try it !!

Thanks vickie. Yes I have neurapathy but Dr doesnt know real reason for it. He just said small fiber neuropathy. My emg was nirmal and all blood work too. Mri showed nothing significant just some narrowing in the spine. Im taking gabapentin and using a derma tran compound cream. The pool idea sounds like a good idea. I will have to check into that.
