Thanks Loretta! Sorry everyone Tina's still out under the weather and Susie's having some problems as well so keep them in your prayers!

I was on last night but dealing with mass spammer with over 200 posts forum wide, 5 usernames, and they have to be deleted one at a time!

I just forgot it was Monday!!

As a reminder here as well, please do not open or post to any spam but especially anything about astrology, black majic, relationship healing, or any phone numbers, these are international 91 numbers and you will get billed $$$$

Doing okay.

Been doing PT for my right shoulder (it just had to be the right one, didn't it? Nothing is sacred around my right pec, shoulder, arm, neck area.....Murphy O'Meyer).

I've been making great strides with PT for my back/hip and then last week, something twanged horrible. My meds manage it during the day, sort of, but they're just taking the edge off, and I'm up all night in pain. I tried to work it out (as exercise always helps my body feel better). Felt better at the time, but these past 4-5 days I have been up every night in pain.....bad enough that I'm keeping Hubby from getting sleep either.

Ergo, here I am at 3:10am, instead of in bed.



And Vickie, God bless your patience and tenacity! Tracking down all that ridiculous spam over 5 usernames, and such a volume.....you must type like you've had 6 cups of coffee and have the patience of Job. I know it's gotta be done, but sometimes, don't you wish you could reach through the screen to these people and just.....just,....grr.

Believe me they pushed my buttons last night and the idiots back tonight!!! Black magic guru? Really? Already taken out over 60 tonight, am hoping Peter gets a block on this guys Isp today!!

Having a rough pain week(month).

Going to see my PA tomorrow...hopefully they'll help me with relief. I really wish they'd get me on a LA med along with Norco(or with something else).

I won't say being in your 20s with CP is worse than 40/50+...but I wish this hadn't befallen me until I at least had something more of a "life" before the pain.

I ended up taking a week off from work. First time I've EVER taken off work..usually I just grin and bear it...but I've come to realize that is kind of selfish. I tutor/teach English..my students deserve a teacher at 100% I've noticed I've been making more and more grammar, reading, English mistakes with my students...really scares me. The wife keeps bringing up disability, but...ugh...

I hope everyone is having a decent week :)

Thanks Vickie...we are blessed to have such a dedicated MOD.

And it's great to here you are doing such great PT work Merr...keep at it! I may need to go back to PT...it didn't help me much before surgery...but I might need to take another whack at it.

Another half a foot of snow to deal with today and my downspouts froze up and backed ice under the shingles, dripping inside, even with heat cables working. I thawed the downspouts but need to get out on the tractor and plow the mile or so driveways. The guy I pay came at 5 AM and only caught the first half of the snow. I don't feel like it, but it has to get done and there's nobody home who can drive the old diesel tractor.

Another dismissal from a doctor yesterday. My shoulder doc says he can scope, but there's not a whole lot to be done with my shoulder although there definitely is some impingement. He gave me a shot in a different place, outside the capsule, but most of the pain is nerve pain from my neck. No more appointments with him, but I can see his partner for a second opinion about the neck. I need to see someone, but I'm not sure I want to see an orthopedic surgeon for neck nerves. (Neurosurgeon dismissed me when I complained about severe neck pain) Pain doc (anesthesiologist) won't give me any more shots for another 6 weeks at least. Tramadol 50 mg TID barely takes the edge off, and my previously ablated lumbar nerves are coming back, especially when I drive the back-jarring tractor.

Sounds awful Alice...they DISMISSED you? So sad...

And tramadol barely does anything for me either(gave me wicked headaches as well).

Hey Vickie, I remembered the Monday check in this morning, lol. Maybe we should call it Tuesday checkin, lol. For some reason Mondays are not in my brain these days. I never did like Mondays, it meant the weekend was over & back to work.

Your welcome Vickie. My biggest complaint is horrible fatigue that's been going on now for a few weeks. I feel like sleeping all day and night, but I fight it. I've never been this tired.

I take Vitamin D3 and iron that the doctor prescribed like 4 months ago. I'm still not feeling any better. In fact, I'm feeling worse. I have an appointment with my pcp next month, but I'm thinking about seeing if I can get an appointment with her sooner.

I got a letter from Medical Transporation that it's ending on Feb. 28, because they haven't gotten the paperwork. I sent it, so I gave them a call, and they sent me more paperwork. I filled out my part, and sent it off today to my pcp for her to fill out her part, and send it in. I hope and pray that they get it approved before it runs out.

I guess that's all I have for now. I hope everyone is having a low pain evening.

Hey y'all.I'm still suffering from the back injection of January 9th.

I saw my PCP last week.He told me if I found another Pain Management he would write a referral.

I called the other PMC in town,which I've heard good things about,the other day and they are taking new patients.

I saw my current PMC yesterday and got my medicine filled.They also gave me 30 5 mg oxocodone IR's.

And I've got written scripts for next month.

So I may wait 2 months to go to a new PMC.

Hope everyone is having more good days than bad ones.

hey everyone, hope your all doing as well as can be. having a pretty rough time the last 5 days. we all took a 2.5 hour drive to a waterpark resort on saturday and came home monday. and the old back and left leg are really giving me a hard time. wasn't really able to have a too good of time, was glad to get back home. not really one to complain but wow does it ever hurt....
