…after a little more research, it appears that the post here is copy-write infringement, and I have deleted it….However, you can follow the information below and look it up.

Great article.

I can only hope and pray a sufficient number of people,...including the general public, doctors, and pharmacists,....will actually read this and take it to heart.

I know that the text of the article is written in Diane's posted, but I just tried clicking on the link to the original article, and it isn't working. It comes up with an error message on the Boston Globe webpage saying "broken link" or something. Anyone know the correct link or the title of the article so that I can google it so I can read the original thing? Thanks.

ps - what I just read that was copied here I thought was great. It is really nice to see a more balanced perspective for a change. I thought the article was very well written.

It comes up to the Boston Globe page, but unable to post the page. I will do a little research, and see if we can find it, and repost it. It may be the reason she copy and pasted it here as well.

…hum?….OK! I found the correct link, but when pasted here it will not work, and I'm guessing it may be a copy-write protection thing? I will do a little more research on it, and hopefully someone else can make it work for us.

Okay, thanks SE. Not a big deal. I always just like to see the original article. Plus I'm curious about the "depressing" comments Mr. JNT mentioned (although, sadly, I can imagine).

When I clicked on the link, it said Page not found. I did a search on the article and I came up with the article. For some reason when you copy & paste it, the link won't take you to the same page.

I know when I'm in the "professional " part of medscape it won't allow me to post the link. If the article is on regular medscape its in different format and a lot may be left out since it's the watered down version for general public.

Our paper here in Daytona allows you to view 4 articles a month free of charge anything more you have to pay for and no links or sharing is allowed. Maybe that's the deal with the globe as well?

…it is copy-write protected, and another company takes care of permissions to repost for a fee. I found it after a little more research.

Hmm sorry you'll had a problem..
I copied & pasted it once to check before making this thread & it worked for me with no issues

Good evening DianeB!

…is it possible to get your Dr to write a script so that you have an extra box on hand for times like this? I have my Dr do this at least on my BT meds, and he has been understanding about it. If your on Fentanyl, then I'm guessing that your pain is serious, and I can understand the worry. I have been there more than once, and one time I had to wait two weeks to get a med in. Luckily, I had plenty of backup to make it through.

Thnx for suggestion Screaming Eagle.. if I have any delay getting this scrip I will do that

Only problem is getting workers com to authorize / pay for it !!
