Hi guys
about
five years ago I was severely assaulted by a large group of people while at school. They had gotten me on the ground and were kicking at my back - mainly my lower back. I was in severe pain for about
two weeks even after being prescribed multiple pain killers and anti inflammatorys by my GP.
The pain still continued to bother me two years later, so I went back to my GP and asked for some advice on treating the pain. He suggested physiotherapy, acupuncture and osteopathy - all of which I tried for a period of time but noticed no positive effects or improvements.
I then had xray's done of my lower spine, but according to the 'specialists' I was all clear. However, the pain is getting worse as the years go by. It now hurts to stand, sit, sleep..basically everything and anything I do causes me pain. The pain is more in my lower back (L4-L5) and sometimes I get sharp pains shooting down my right leg.
This injury has been and is still causing me a lot of grief as there are so many activities I have had to stop doing, and even my career path has been affected by it, and it is now starting to get me down :(
Any advice on what to do? Or even what the injury could be?
