Results

Saw Pain Management doctor today, results of the neck mri are, 2 atypical neuromos, a small one at C6 and a bigger one at T1 and I will be going for a bone scan soon and dependant on the bone scan I will be referred out to a neurosurgeon.
EMG tests showed Carpal Tunnel both hands and radiculopathy, not much new there just a little worsing of the carpel tunnel...
Of course I'm a little scared but will get through this...Staying strong, going up to visit with daughter this weekend over night and will have a late Birthday celebration for her...

I'll know on the 25th of March if I'll be sent to a neurosurgeon...not looking forward to that and hope it won't come to that.

I'm so sorry to hear the bad news. Very scary indeed. But hopefully the neuromas are begin and can be removed. I know it's hard when you've recently gotten bad/scary news, but try not to dwell on it too much right now. There are still more tests that need to be done before you will know anything further. Perhaps things are not as bad as they seem. Just try to enjoy the weekend in your daughter's company! I'm sure that that will make you feel better, if only temporarily.

Thinking of you my friend. Keep that positive attitude of yours. Hang in there! You'll get through this!

Guess I'm a bit worried as I have symptoms such as nausea, hard time swallowing and pain all around the T1, pm doctor couldn't touch it without hurting me and I'm wondering if this is my migraine cause....so maybe a surgery would be beneficial, but all scary all the same...I just don't post a lot about my symptoms as they can over lapse with other stuff ...and trying to be positive...no call for the bone scan today so if they don't call on Monday, I'll call them and see if they have my doctor's orders...
This will probably be my last post until Late Sunday...off to North Texas...
