I fell 14 weeks ago and messed up my right elbow (found out after walking around for 3 weeks or so that it had been broken in the fall) and also messed up my left hand, left shoulder and right shoulder. When I went to the orthopedic doctor, he said the healing had already started and was going well with my elbow so I didn't have to have a cast. In a subsequent visit with him, I mentioned that my left hand was still swelled up (10 weeks after the fall). He took xrays and didn't see a break. Well 3 weeks later it still wasn't any better so when I mentioned to the dr that it still hurt really bad, he went back and looked at the xrays he had taken previously. He set me to do a deep tissue MRI. Well, I did that today and I could not make it through the MRI. The pain was excruciating. Does anyone know why that would be? I am going to have to get some pains meds and do it all over again.
