Hi all.


I am afraid that this pain and discomfort never pass away.


The day after tomorrow I will have another test, but I am losing my faith.

 

Hoy can I do?.

Seymour, can you give us an idea of your daily diet: what do you on a regular basis, and do the pains get better or worse when you eat (or eliminate) something from your diet? You mentioned drinking a glass of milk when you get out of bed...have you thought about cutting that out as milk can create an inflammatory response in the body.

Has anyone tested you for fungal infections? Also, you said that this all started after you ate in a restaurant and you wrote that you ate a fair amount of meat. Have you been tested for food-borne parasites, food allergies, etc.?

I would still keep IBS as a very real cause of your problems, but there could also be a secondary problem going on. If the problems started when you ate at a restaurant, my instinct is to suspect something you ate set off a chain reaction.

Selphie, you have brought up some very valid points. I suggested he visit the IBS forum because those folks over there can help him with diet tips, especially when he continues to eat normal meals with diarrhea going on, that will keep things aggravated. Diet & bowel problems have to be treated delicately. When you have diarrhea you change your diet up.

Parasites can really be wicked, I had a friend get them from food in a Mexican restaurant. He was very ill until they detected the problem.

Thats my thinking as well and why I questioned his use of milk and milk products. I also way back asked if he could see an infection control Dr .

Hang in there hopefully the biopsy will find some answers!

A foodborne illness depends on what you ate and if it was cooked or handled improperly or contaminated. You mentioned you got sick 3 hours after eating at the Asian restaurant which suggests an intoxication vs. infection (short incubation period). Do u recall what u ate? Did u only have diarrhea or did u also vomit? This type of info helps to determine the offending microbe if u did get sick from that restaurant. Did u eat out the day before or attend a pot luck?

@1 day at a time Yes I ate several things: pork hot dog, chicken, beef stick ,and 2 beers and 1 piece of cake.


It was 3.5 months ago, since then I am sick.


I have made several stool test an everything comes negative for ova and parasites.


I dont remember what I eat the day before, but that day I did not breakfast.
