ATTN; Members new and old

We seem to have a few old threads cropping up so I want to go over again why we lock these threads to prevent replying on them.

If a thread is less then a year old we generally will leave it but more then that we lock it and ask that you start a new thread with the same subject matter.

Old posts will have members that are nolonger here and when old members see a thread with a long gone username they may bypass reading that thread and the new members reply will be missed.

You can tell if the memberr who started the thread or the OP (origional poster) is still active at the forums by clicking on their username and bringing up the last 10 posts and looking at the dates of those posts and to the top at "date last seen". That way you will know if its been a long time since they last posted chances are they are nolonger active members and will not likely respond.

Old members if you see a new member post on an old thread you can help by not posting replies or even start a new post addressing it to the new member and answering the questions or offer support. Once we see old threads and lock them and if you responded your response may not get seen if a new thread is started or you will have to repost on the new thread.

We don't want to miss welcoming new members to the forum nor giving support and advice by missing posts on old threads.

As always your cooperation is important since we are working with only 3 mods and we do what we can but we can't be here all the time. You guys know that Susie,WB and my email addresses are listed here and I think at least Susie and I have our notifications on for forum emails so we see it rather quickly should you need something or if there is a problem here. Email us and one of us will take care of as soon as possible.

You guys as always are awesome and I love being here with you and for you as your mod and hopefully your friend.
