Thank you, a suprise it was! He brought his beautiful
Girl with him.
We got all moved in last night.
I thought it would be today and tomorrow, but we had
2 big, lifted trucks (huge), a 24 ft trailer behind one of them,
2 cars, and a Dodge Durango all rolling at once.
Our friends and son really helped us alot.
We had 2 problems while moving stuff into the house though.
I got the keys yesterday, so I decided to come over here
To turn the air on and get the fridge nice and cold, well when we walked
In it seemed cold enough, but upstairs was still pretty hot.
We brought a box fan up to no avail (it's super humid here in MO)
We decided to let the guys do all the lifting. My son's girlfriend and I packed.
While I was hanging up clothes In our closet, suddenly
Everything went black and I passed out. I landed flat on my back.
I woke up within a few seconds, but my legs were weak and
Wobbly. I just didn't feel good at all so I stopped and let
Them finish.
Hubby drew me a cool bath and looked after me all night.
Now get this, the poor man wakes up at 2 am to go to
The bathroom, he forgets where he is and promply falls down
The stairs!
I felt so bad for him I was in tears! He hurt his left elbow.
I wanted him to get to the hospital.
His response? I'm tough, I'm not going. Period.
He can move it all over the place so it doesn't appear broken.
My question is can it be fractured and he can still move it?
It was quite a night for us thats for sure.
Ladies how can I convince my stubborn hubby to get seen
If he needs to?
Keep in mind we live in the country, he is tough, a big ol
Country boy.
He's dedicated to his job.
Here's an example of how he is.
He broke his ankle last year, when I told him to get to the E.R.
His response? Why would I pay someone a lot of money
To tell me I broke my ankle?
He bought a boot type thing and rigged up his own version
Of a splint.
Help me out here ladies.
