Kidney conditions? (Long)

Hi again everyone. Some of you might know that I still don't have a firm diagnosis of what's causing my pain, my journey began not even a year ago.

I had a partial hysterectomy which was supposed to "solve" my issue about 6 weeks ago, it hasn't helped me a bit. Thankfully I was done having children and don't miss that organ at all and don't regret the surgery, it was minimally invasive and the recovery wasn't too bad.

After the surgery I made a few ER trips. One CT showed a 2.5 cm cyst in my right ovary. I had severe pain in my right side that day, which was the reason for my ER visit. My pain was located above my ovary (in the kidney area) so my brilliant doctor (<---- sarcasm) decided that since the cyst was in my ovary and my pain was occurring higher up than my ovary that the cyst had nothing to do with the pain. Anyway, I recently had a lumbar spine MRI and the report from the radiologist lists a 2.5 cm cyst visible in my right kidney which was "noted on previous imagery". I haven't had a chance to talk to my doc about the report yet (new doc, not the one who told me the cyst wasn't causing my pain), but it seems odd, doesn't it? My guess is that the cyst was in my kidney the whole time. Why the first radiologist said it was an ovarian cyst is beyond me.

Now I'm thinking of kidney/bladder issues. This may be TMI but it takes me FOREVER to pee - it takes about 2 minutes for me to START, then I have incomplete emptying about 3 times before I'm done. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before? I can't seem to find anything that fits my symptoms. My other issue is SEVERE, constant radicular pain in my lower abdomen and thighs. I also have consistently low red blood cell counts and hematocrit/hemoglobin.

I need a good internist who is going to look at all my imaging and other symptoms and put the pieces of the puzzle together. So hard to find someone like that!

I have had a cyst on one of my kidneys for years & according to my specialists including two kidney specialist they are very common. I have no kidney issues, my kidney function is fine. So, there is a real possibility this is not the issue causing you problems. If you had kidney issues this would have been picked up on in labs. Not trying to discourage you, just don't want you to be disappointed if the drs tell you just what I have written above.
