Hey guys I have to get surgery again to get all the screws and plate removed from my ankle and leg but am wondering will it hurt as much as the first time when i had all the hardware put in when i had an injury?

Welcome Ozm to the CP forum. Having hardware taken out is generally something many here have had to deal with. As for whether it will bring about the same kind of pain none of us can tell you as it has to deal with why its coming out and how long its been in and many other factors. As a general rule coming out is easier then going in so maybe it wont be as bad as last time. I wish I could tell you more but I wish you luck and if you find yourself in that kind of pain after your surgery please come back and let us know,that we can help you with.

So it's time to get the hardware removed. I have to wonder WHY. Were you told?

It might be easier to follow this if you went back to your original post about the surgery and ask your ? there so we can read the history. IF you want to do that you can find that thread by clicking on your name to the left of your post.
