Diabetic neuropathy foot pain

I'm a new member and have a appointment with a pain management doctor soon I'm taking hydrocodone 10 325 4 per day and some days it's not enough hope my new doc can help me

Hello Fishermans & welcome to the chronic pain forum. My husband has diabetic neuropathy in his feet & hands & his dr has him on 1800mg of Gabapentin which has really helped. He is not on any narcotics. Narcotics have little effect on nerve pain. I am really surprised that the dr treating your diabetes didn't put you on one of the nerve meds for this.

hi from me. i have diabetes, t2 insulin dependent. feet, yeah i hear ya. doc only has me on panadol osteo for back and neck. slipped disk and arthritis. says that he would refer if it gets bad. welcome from me as well. all the best with ya pain doc. with healing compassion.
