Hi Momma,
I too have 'military neck' and mild scoliosis. I see a chiropractor. I use a rather flat pillow, as any of the ones with the 'neck support' actually force my neck into a bad position. Carrying a baby around stresses the neck. Carrying a heavy diaper bag does too. Try to carry things evenly, with your elbows extended, not with the strap over the shoulder, not with the strap in the crook of the elbow. This will keep the spine as straight as possible. Girls tend to carry their schoolbooks, etc on their hip. Women carry their children on their hip. This curves the spine to one side and affects the neck too. It won't be easy, but if you modify how you carry things, it should help. Use the stroller, get a double one if you need it.
